Gots and Wants Posting Guidelines
Read Before Posting/Responding

HEA will not assume any responsibility for any item that is sold, the manner of the transaction, or the financial document used.

1) The basic rule is that ads are for one-time, non-business related postings.  We cannot appear to give unfair advantage (by free advertising) to one business over another on the HEA system or use union resources for personal financial gain.

2) Items specifically excluded from the Gots and Wants are any products intended to promote the use of tobacco, alcohol, weapons or drugs.

3)  Items for sale are on a one-time basis. EX: such as a sofa, but not the sofas your spouse sells at the furniture store he/she works for – or - your house is for sale and your name and phone number appear in the message, but not your realtor's name and phone number or your spouse’s business.

4) It is acceptable to put messages in the Wants seeking information on where you can rent a beach house, specific items for sale.--as long as you ask for the reply to come to you personally.  When replying to messages that are seeking information of this kind, remember to reply to sender.
